MISSION FOCUS The intention of my Hardwood Creations is to elevate the Bible both literally and figuratively.
Although the Bible is still the most common book around, it unfortunately doesn't seem to hold the same blatent degree of prominance it once enjoyed. Without the scriptures, we wouldn't know much about Jesus, about the early Church, nor would we understand salvation. The Word of God is Truth, and it is Life. It only seems fitting to promote such a "Treasure" with all the quality, craftsmanship, and beauty humanly possible.
As it states in Heb 4:12 "The Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart" (NIV). It is the Living Word that bends the swords of evil into plowshares for peace!
My desire is to make the Bible attractive through unique display stands in our homes and in our churches. By putting our Bibles on display, this should remind us of the special gift we have been given, and it should help inspire others to look to "The Word of God."
